PP liner is a special fabric weaved by polypropylene fiber. Because of its high crystallized, high tensile strength, outstanding chemical resistance and also low specific gravity, lighter weight, easy to clean up, so it's good for liner use in tire production.

Characteristic :

High tensile strength :

Tensile strength of polypropylene filament : 3.5 ¡V7.5 g/d

Tearing strength : Over 15.0 kgs

Tensile strength : Over 28.0 kgs

 

Lighter weight :

The specific gravity of polypropylene is only 0.91. It's the only one fiber that can float on the water.

The weight ration when the volume is equal  to Nylon : 79.8 %, Polyester : 65.9 %, Cotton : 59.1 %.

 

Easy to dry out :

The water absorbency of polypropylene is 0.01% (at 20 C and 65 % RH). So it doesn't absorb water and easy to dry out.

 

Chemical resistance :

The chemical characteristic of polypropylene is very stable. Most of acids and alkalis can't make it to dissolve, corrode or deteriorate.

 

Climatical resistance :

The strength of polypropylene doesn't change even in bad working environment for a long time.

 

Low electrification :

The chemical structure on polypropylene is non-polar. It doesn't produce static electricity when it rub on metals. It's a good insulator and it doesn't absorb water. So when the wet in the air changed, the electrification of the fiber doesn't change. Because of its outstanding low electrification, it doesn't adsorb dust and impurities easily. It is easy to clean it up.
