| PTFE is well known for properties of low friction and easy of release. It has excellent resistance to chemicals, high dielectric strength, non-toxic, dimensionally stable, unaffected by temperature extremes and in combination with glass and Kevlar, remains tough and flexible throughout an operating temperature range of -150 ¢XC to 260 ¢XC. They are effective over a wide band of temperatures including cryogenic cooling and can be used safely with microwave, radio-frequency, ultra-violet and infra-red techniques. ¡@ |
